Following the login to your VelocityTool account you’ll land on the dashboard / home page of the tool.

At first glance you will see your Teams and Portfolio including your Portfolio Roadmap.

Within you Portfolio you will see your Epics (Projects):

• Name,
• Description,
• Financial information (Planned, Actual and Projected)
• Start and end date, with status (Planned, Actual and Projected)
• Epic’s and Feature’s Roadmap
• Epic and Feature Milestones
• Epic and Feature Outcomes

A clear and simple workflow include Epics, Features User stories and Tasks.

Your boards, backlogs, and other Agile artifacts have been automatically configured to efficiently organize and manage your day.

You can establish Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) by integrating teams, program, and portfolio levels into the Planning Interval event. This ensures that all levels of the organization are synchronized and working towards common goals.

You can also plan your Iterations/Sprints by defining the your goals by prioritizing the scope of work (User Stories and Tasks), estimating effort, and allocating them accordingly.

Track Epic, Feature, Goals and PI and Iteration Progress in real time depending on the team’s daily progress and outcomes, against your project’s projected plan, monitor key metrics and OKR’s, and make adjustments and see the results as needed in real time. Use VelocityTool’s Agile dashboard with analytics features to gain complete insights into team performance and project health.

Regularly review project and product progress and conduct retrospectives to identify areas for improvement. Use feedback from retrospectives to iterate and refine your progress for the future Iteration and Release.
